Andre O'Reilly Beringhs is a regulatory scientist in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, particularly pharmaceutics. His academic journey began in Brazil at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where he obtained his B.Sc. in Pharmacy and Biochemistry (2009-2013) and M.Sc. in Pharmacy (Drugs & Pharmaceuticals) (2013-2015). Thereafter, he moved to the United States to pursue a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics) at the University of Connecticut, completing it in 2021. Professionally, Beringhs serves as a Staff Fellow (Pharmacologist) at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Generic Drugs, Division of Therapeutic Performance I. His research interests are primarily centered around drug delivery and enhancing the standard of care in human health, with particular emphasis on developing innovative pharmaceutical technologies with focus on nanoparticle-based parenteral products and complex ophthalmic products.
