Senior, Biochemistry Major
Concordia University Wisconsin
My name is Yushin Kim, and I am currently a senior at Concordia University Wisconsin with a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Artificial Intelligence.
As an undergraduate researcher, I possess a strong background in both laboratory and computational work. My main interest lies in using computational tools to address complex challenges in Structural Biology and Drug Discovery. I'm proficient in scientific software, such as Schrödinger Maestro for virtual drug-like compound screening and GROMACS for molecular dynamics simulations of proteins. In the lab, I work with mammalian and bacterial cell cultures and employ various molecular biology techniques.
My expertise spans physical sciences and scientific computation, and I'm committed to further developing my bioinformatics skills to provide data-driven solutions for biological problems. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the next generation of therapeutic development by leveraging cutting-edge computational tools.
I'm actively seeking Summer 2024 internship opportunities.
