Lance Wollenberg, Ph.D. is a Director of Clincal Pharmacology at Pfizer Boulder, and joined the Pfizer following the acquisition of Array BioPharma in 2019. Lance is a graduate of Colorado State University and received a bachelors of science degree in Biological Sciences. His graduate education occurred at West Virginia University where he earned his PhD studying cytochrome P450 enzymes. During his time at West Virginia University, Lance also spent time as a summer intern in the Drug Metabolism Department at Amgen in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he studied species-specific tissue distributions of esterase enzymes. After completing his Ph.D research in 2011, Lance was appointed a post-doctoral fellowship at the State University of New York-University at Buffalo specializing in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling under the tutelage of the late Alan Forrest. As part of this post-doctoral fellowship appointment, Lance spent the second year of his post-doctoral fellowship at Novartis Pharmaceuticals in East Hanover, New Jersey as a member of the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Department prior to Joining ArrayBioPharma in 2013.
