Sundus H. Omari is a Ph.D. Candidate in the department of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery, University of Mississippi. She received her B.Sc. degree in Pharmaceutical Science from The University of Jordan (Amman, Jordan) in 2015. In 2019, she attended the University of Mississippi for her Master`s degree in Pharmaceutical Science with an emphasis on Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery. Her research interest includes formulation development of solid dosage form using hot-melt extrusion and fused deposition modeling 3D- printing technologies. She joined the Ph.D. program in the same department. Her research was in developing a mathematical and computerized modeling to optimize the dimensions and percentage infill for the targeted dose of different 3D printed pharmaceutical designs. She is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AAPS) and the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi. She is an Intern. at Thermo Fisher Scientific, this will expand her research knowledge and expertise in formulation of oral dosage forms.
