Description: Nucleic acid therapies are making it possible to create new types of treatments, vaccines, and cures. These therapeutic molecules can be analyzed using chromatographic methods coupled to either simple ultra-violet (UV) or mass spectrometry (MS) detection. In this presentation, high-resolution ion-pair reversed phase (IP-RPLC), hydrophilic interaction (HILIC), size exclusion (SEC), and anion exchange (AEX) liquid chromatography methods will be reviewed with a focus on techniques suitable for physicochemical characterization, regulatory support, and quality control of new RNA therapeutic compounds.
