Liying Jiang graduated with a PhD under the mentorship of Associate Professor Leopold Ilag, in Analytical Chemistry from Stockholm University in 2015. Afterwards, she received her 2-year PCC (Partnership for Clean Competition) fellowship in the anti-doping field and worked under Prof. David Cowan at King’s College London’s Drug Control Center in UK. In 2018, she went back to China and joined the Bioanalysis Department of WuXi AppTec in Suzhou. She is currently a Director, working as a Project Manager and overseeing a bioanalytical method development group and a production group.
Her expertise is applying mass spectrometry-based techniques to quantify various types of drug molecules, from small molecules, to peptides, oligonucleotides, proteins, antibody-drug conjugates and antibody therapeutics, in the field of environmental science, food analysis, doping control and toxicological studies. This poster demonstrates the bioanalytical methods developed by her group for quantifying three types of oligonucleotides using liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry or fluorescent detector.
