Shuying Wang is a PhD candidate at the College of Pharmacy, University of Michigan. In Dr. Schwendeman's lab, she passionately explores long-acting formulations for peptide delivery, especially melanocortin peptide to treat obesity. With a keen interest in pharmaceutical advancements, Shuying's research aims to bridge the gap between the benchside drug molecule research and the bedside formulations to treat patients in a cost-effective, minimally painful way.
