Research Assistant
University of Nebraska Medical Center
Jingyi Ma is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She earned her bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences from Sun Yat-sen University in 2018. Upon arriving in the United States, she started her research journey alongside her mentor, Dr. Ram Mahato, concentrating on the development of innovative nanoformulation-based drug delivery systems for the treatment of liver diseases.
Jingyi's primary research interest focuses on the advancement and practical application of polymeric nanoparticles in small molecule drug delivery. Her research also addresses the utilization of novel PDE4B inhibitors for the treatment of liver diseases induced by alcohol consumption. Besides, Jingyi contributes to biodistribution studies and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) assessments for various nanoformulations.
