Suraj Fanse is currently a Ph.D. graduate student in Dr. Diane Burgess' laboratory in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Connecticut, United States. His current research focus is on enabling the rational development of long-acting implants for contraceptive purpose.
Suraj holds a broad research experience spanning formulation development and analytical characterization of long-acting controlled release drug delivery systems, drug-device combination products, and in vitro drug release testing of such drug products. His previous experience and interests lie in long-acting injectable nanosuspensions, microparticles, implants, hydrogels, and in situ forming gels.
