Honglan is a second-year Ph.D. student in the School of Pharmacy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in pharmaceutics, which she obtained from China Pharmaceutical University in 2017 and 2020, respectively. Prior to her Ph.D. studies, Honglan worked as a formulation scientist at Shanghai Syn-The-All Pharmaceutical Company, where she gained two years of industry experience. Honglan was awarded the prestigious Hong Kong Postgraduate Fellowship Scheme by the University Grants Committee in 2022 to support her doctoral program. Her research primarily explores diverse drug delivery systems and combination strategies for enhanced antitumoral or antimicrobial treatments. Her doctoral dissertation project focuses on the pulmonary delivery of synergistic phage depolymerase and antibiotic combinations to combat multidrug-resistant bacterial infections.
