Lushan Wang, M.S. is a 5th-year graduate student in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Her current research interests involve the identification of molecular mechanisms driving BBB dysfunction in Alzheimer's disease and metabolic syndrome. Her research applies quantitative in vivo imaging, system biology, and modeling/simulation approaches with aim of establishing metabolism association between Alzheimer's disease, metabolic syndrome, and BBB dysfunction.
