I hold a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences and drug delivery from the School of Pharmacy- Queen’s University of Belfast. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Jordan University of Science and Technology, and I am a registered pharmacist in Jordan. My PhD research has focused on depot-forming microarray patches (MAPs) for the long acting delivery of a model hydrophobic drug across the skin. I have been working as a full-time postdoctoral research fellow since April 2022. I am interested in research in the fields of formulation, transdermal drug delivery, nanotechnology, microneedles and hydrogels.
