Duquesne University
I have completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy from Stamford University Bangladesh and Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Technology from University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh. After graduation, I worked at a renowned pharmaceutical industry, Popular Pharmaceutical Ltd., Bangladesh for 2.5 years in research and development department. During my tenure there, I developed and validated analytical methods for qualitative and quantitative determination of drug products from different dosage forms (solids, liquids and injectables). I published four research papers on analytical method development and validation in peer reviewed journals.
I joined the lab of Dr. Peter L. D. Wildfong at Duquesne University, USA to complete my PhD in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design in Fall 2021. Currently, I’m working on design and development of tunable size microparticles that could be used for delivery of drugs directly from nose-to-brain to treat neurological and psychiatric disorders.
