Paul started his career in pharmaceutical sciences as an intern at Bend Research Inc. where he worked on the characterization of spray-dried dispersions. Following his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014 he worked for Gilead Sciences Inc. as a member of the Formulation and Process Development group. There he specialized in solid oral dosage forms for 4 years and then began work with long acting injectables for small molecules. In 2019, he began pursuing his doctorate in pharmaceutics at Duquesne University in Dr. Wilson Meng's laboratory. His current research is centered around the sustained delivery of biologics and leveraging the immune system in the treatment of various disease states.
