I am Arvind Bagde, postdoctoral research associate from Florida A&M University.
I received my bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm.) and master’s degree (M.Pharm.) from Nagpur University (Maharashtra, India) in 2009 and 2011 respectively. In 2019, I got the Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics from Florida A&M University (Fl, USA). In 2021, I worked as a Research Scientist at Transdermal Research Pharm Laboratories, LLC, NY. Presently, I am a postdoctoral research associate at Florida A&M University, FL, USA. I have published more than 15 research articles and presented more than 15 posters in various national and state conferences. I have received various awards including Formulation design and development (FDD) Section travelship award for the poster presentation at AAPS 2016 conference. I was also awarded with best presentation award and second prize in 3MT in Student appreciation week at Florida A&M University, Fl, USA in the year 2018 and 2019 respectively. I was granted an US patent on “formulation of solid lipid nanoparticle of ibuprofen using hot melt extrusion.” My research interests include topical and transdermal drug delivery, 3D printed microneedle patches for transdermal delivery of API, oral drug delivery system, formulation and development of nanoparticles using various techniques including hot melt extrusion, high pressure homogenization and evaluation of dosage forms in various animal models including skin cancer chemoprevention model, carrageenan induced rat paw edema model, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies.
