I am Dr. Neeraj S. Thakur, currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City. I completed my bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences in 2011 from Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science, Indore, and my Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mohali in 2013 and 2018, respectively. Then, I joined a research associate position at the Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing, Mohali. In 2020, I received the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship and moved to the University of Geneva, Switzerland as a Postdoctoral Scientist. My subjective interests are in the areas of pharmaceutical technology, formulation development, drug delivery, biomaterials, and nanomaterials for biomedical applications. My work interest is in the area of formulation and analytical development which includes the development and characterization of conventional and novel formulations for the delivery of small/large molecules, peptides, and nucleic acids. My working proficiency mainly resides in the fields of pharmaceutical science, chemical engineering, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and biotechnology. According to my interest and experience so far, I have developed expertise in various formulations development and their functional characterization, cellular & molecular interactions, and analytical methods development utilizing quality-by-design approach for final product development.
