Graduate Assistant
Mercer University
I am Dedeepya Pasupuleti, M.S., a Ph.D. student from Mercer University, College of Pharmacy, Atlanta. Iam an experienced chemist skilled in analytical and separation sciences with Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Manufacturing technical experience. Proficient in liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, and advanced detectors like triple quadrupole mass spectrometry, differential mobility spectrometers, FID, TCD, and ECD. Proficient in data analysis using MATLAB, ORIGIN, Principal component analysis (PCA), Hierarchical Component Analysis (HCA), ANOVA, and t-tests. Currently working on the detection and quantification of nanoparticulated drugs in heavy matrices like protein and animal tissue backgrounds using LC-MS/MS.
As a laboratory lead, I was involved in project development, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and small improvement projects. Led process validation activities in coordination with Production, Laboratory Management, and Engineering teams. Automated analytical equipment, validated new instruments, and ensured compliance with Quality control and Quality assurance protocols.
I provided support in Continuous Improvement, Corrective Action/Preventive Action, FMEA, and Statistical Process Control. Conducted Method Capability Analysis (MCA) studies for newly automated instrumentation. Managed tracking and tracing of new product generation, optimizing shelf-life predictions through automation. Utilized Mass spectrometry for monitoring reactivity during production and advise on process improvements based on Root Cause Analysis. Certified specialty gas mixtures using various analytical techniques under cGMP protocols.
