University of Minnesota
Zengtao Wang, BS. is a fifth year PhD student in the Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Minnesota. Zengtao's thesis project focuses on characeterizing pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of amyloid beta proteins at the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and the underlying biological mechanisms. His research applies quantitative in vivo imaging, system biology and modeling/simulation approaches with aim of establishing mechanistic association between Alzheimer's disease, metabolic syndrome and BBB dysfunction.
